Okay! I talked to Jamie today! She is in Arizona with Katie at the mayo clinic and got to spend the 4th with Katie. Katie is in the process of moving into a new house (she just bought) so her internet is down and Jamie is unable to post here.
She saw the doctors there for a second opinion regarding her situation (Katie works at the mayo clinic, what a blessing). They agreed with everything that is being done in Laramie - a nice thing to hear. Jamie will be back Tuesday night (the 7th) and will start her treatment (chemo) in Laramie on the 13th - and will be there through the 17th. Then she will be home. (yea)
That's the news so far. A fast trip but priceless for the peace of mind.

Hi Jamie - I found your site! Thanks to the creators as I find this a great comfort in being able to keep up with Jamie without disturbing her during this quest. God Bless Love Marilyn
ReplyDelete"Unexpected journey" is a wonderful way to describe this little detour in your life, Jamie. From my own experience, I know that God can take things that cause us angst and unrest and turn them into blessings that enrich our lives. It take faith and it takes a willingness to surrender, but the rewards are unfathomable. We are here for you and for Jimmy and are honored to walk this stretch of road with you!
