Yipee!! This was really a pretty good week. I'm getting a little more uncomfortable all the time. Next week is chemo week and that's not bad just a nuisance. Nice to have Bob and Rosie around and taking me to Laramie one day last week. Katie will be here on Sunday,VERY EXCITED! Thanks to you all for writing. Check out Renie's poem on my last post, it is beautiful. My blessed little red haired friend helped me get the house ready for Katie. So much food has been brought in and may I say my friends are GOOD cooks! And wonderful Cindy at CP&L got my PC up and running after a major crash on Thursday. Aren't we all blessed to live in such a community and to have such great support. Blessings and prayers to all of you. Jamie

Please add the Larschied family to your prayers this week, that Valerie may feel well and Emily's wedding be every thing they are hoping.

You sound upbeat. Praise the Lord!! You are a wonderful example of trusting God!! Love you. See you soon.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your daughter! I am glad you are doing so well. When the food runs out call me, or if the mouth sores come back. I have 2 great recipes I can make you. Survived the Blues Festival, it was fun. Wish you could have been there. Plan for 9/4 at my house with Susan Gibson. She pulls down joy and beauty when she sings. Hugs. Chris's hair is very curly- I think he's going to make it waiting for you to get all better. Love from both of us.
ReplyDeleteHi Jamie
ReplyDeleteGlad things are going well! I know how excited you must be to have Katie home with you! Kids are GREAT! I think of you everyday and want you to know I am here to drive you for an appointment or anything else! Love and Prayers, Jo Dell
Hey Chemo Sabe,
ReplyDeleteWe hope this message finds you as well as can be expected. We have gone on a hair maintenance strike until you are better. Beth is sporting a mustache (potential handle bar action). Beth put my hair in a pony, mind you a very small pony. I even had a student accuse me of being a Hippie. Ah the golden years. Have a wonderful time with Katie. We are really glad to hear you are keeping the faith during this process. We will keep up on your progress on you blog.
Love Beth and Dick
Chris also is on a 'hair maintenance strike" - that term cracked me up. I am not as brave. Chris is at not quite a pony tail....the town will have to go tie dye at this rate. Heh.
ReplyDeleteLet me know when you want snow pudding and custard sauce or ginger carrot soup.
Jamie, I hope you are enjoying your week with Katie. How is the chemo affecting you? I tried sending a note earlier but I think it got lost in computerland. "We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us." E.M. Forster hugs, rosie
ReplyDeleteHey Jamie,
ReplyDeleteI've been keeping up with your journey through Barb, but I did want you to know that I wish the best for you. Now go and kick some cancer ass!

Wish the ginger carrot hadn;t been hard on your sore mouth; hope the custard sauce on snow pudding is soothing. We will pray you through this hardest week. Lots of golden light and love heading your way, wish we could take this from you. Hugs, C&C
