Hallelujah! Today will be my last radiation and what a relief. Eventually we all end up getting burned and they tell me I've been stronger that most. Thank God for that because it has become very uncomfortable. Last of the chemo is wearing off and I was better prepared for the mouth sores this time, so they weren't quite so bad. Next week we'll find out if the hair stays or goes, it's not feeling like my hair but atleast it's hanging on. Now I will have a couple of weeks where the treatments continue to give off their nasty effects but I will get to stay home and that sounds so good, we're so sick of driving.
I know there are some of you that need prayer (L) and please know I'm thinking of you and putting you in my prayers. Thankfully we have our God and our friends to help us.
Come to me all you who are weary and burdended and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:23
And that is where I'm headed into the arms of my Lord to recover. And I've also got this wonderful husband who has been absolutely unbelievable thru this, Jimmy is AWESOME.
love to you all, Jamie

Jamie,
ReplyDeleteSorry it takes us so long to post a comment. We are surely thankful you completed your last day of treatment. We do pray for freedom from pain from the effects of the treatments. We hope you are able to rest and find your strength returning.
Thanks for keeping us posted.
We claim the following promises for you:
"Wherever He went-
-in villages and cities, and out on the farms-
-they laid the sick
in the market plazas and streets,
and begged Him to let them
at least touch the fringes of his clothes;
and as many as touched Him were healed."
----
"But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them,
With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible."
-Matthew 19: 26KJV
Jeremiah 29:11 TLB:
“For I know the plans I have for you,
says the Lord.
They are plans for good
And not for evil,
To give you a future and a hope.”
You are loved, Everett and Renie
I heard this today and thought of you - what a really great example you are of 'hope'.
ReplyDeleteHope deferred maketh the heart sick: But when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life
(proverbs 13:12)
through all this - the incredible discomfort and pain - your example to me of hope and faith has been more than inspiring. you....rock. you are a rock actually ;o).
Oh, Jamie....I'm s very happy you are nearing the end of this difficult time! We have had you in our thoughts and prayers daily, and I'm so inspired by your faith and your strength. You are very loved and appreciated. Bob also sends his love.
