Thank you all so much for your prayers. The mouth sores are gone and it's been a good week. Next Monday will be my half way point in treatment. I can't begin to tell you what a blessing this blog has been. How wonderful to hear from all of you, I read back through all of your comments atleast once a week, smiles, tears and what love I feel. Thank you.
The Lord be with all of you, and hope you have a beautiful weekend. Jamie

Hey, Lady! It was so nice to see you and Jimmy, albeit briefly last week. You look wonderful and I'm so happy that the mouth sores are gone. You're half-way there and we are thinking of you and praying for you. I hope we'll get to see you soon.
ReplyDeleteIt's great to hear you're feeling better. Half way there already. Wow! Hope to see you and Katie while Kassidie's home. Sending positive thoughts your way.

Hi Jamie,
ReplyDeleteSo sorry it is so long since we have written.
We are just so very thankful the sores in your mouth are gone, and that you are now a bit more than half way through your treatment.
Haircuts aren't the same without you. :-)
You're in our prayers for complete and speedy healing.
Below is a poem I wrote once. I hope it will be an encouragement to you:
IN ALL KINDS OF WEATHER
The fog comes in,
The storm is near.
Remind me, Lord,
To never fear.
Above the clouds
Your sun still shines.
Your love still warms
This heart of mine.
Without the rain,
No flowers grow.
To make me strong
The tempests blow.
To exercise
The spirit man
I must use faith
And learn to stand.
On every day
I sing Your praise,
For victory comes
In many ways.
It comes with sunrise
Shouts of joy.
It comes night seasons
To employ.
It walks in silence,
Dances, sings;
It comes on shining,
Shimmering wings.
One thing I know –
It’s plain to see:
You never fail
To hear my plea.
You always give
Me victory.

Jamie, it was good for Bob and I to start you out on your 4th week. We loved our time visiting while going over the Snowy Range. We hope you are doing well and just think, it is almost Friday! A quote that I thought you would appreciate. Hugs, Rosie
ReplyDelete"I want a lifetime of holy moments. Every day I want to be in dangerous proximity to Jesus. I long for a life that explodes with meaning and is filled with adventure, wonder, risk, and danger. I long for a faith that is gloriously treacherous. I want to be with Jesus, not knowing whether to cry or laugh." Mike Yoconelli
Hey, James!
ReplyDeleteI continue to think of you with only positive thoughts!! I'm so happy you're doing well, but I'm not at all surprised. My hair misses you!
Love ya!
Kelly
Hi, Jamie! Bob and I want you to know we are thinking of you and Jimmy. We'd love to see you, but I understand that it's a very busy time and socializing is not high on your list right now. Just know we are there for you, and please let us know how else to support you both. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteHey Jamie! Just wanted to let you know you're in my prayers! Hope the "second half" passes quickly. Sending love and smiles your way!

Hi Jamie: Talked to Jack and he said you weren't feeling really great and I understand why! I pray you start getting some pain relief and for this stage to pass quicky. As always, you have a wonderful outlook and all of us feel YOUR STRENGTH - it's amazing! Praying for you, Jean
